The original Scanreco type 592 / Palfinger EEA2512 battery is designed for Scanreco remote controls used on cranes and hydraulic machinery with radio remote control. It is one of the most universal batteries within Scanreco systems, as it can be found on different crane brands, truck-mounted cranes, concrete pumps, truck-mounted concrete pumps, forestry equipment, recycling machinery and other industrial equipment with radio control.

The battery uses Ni-MH technology, with 7.2 V voltage and 2000 mAh capacity. It is an original rechargeable battery designed to power the transmitter of a crane remote control or hydraulic machine radio control.

It is commonly used in Scanreco remote controls from the RC400, RC590, RC592, RC960, Mini and Maxi ranges. It may also be associated with RC790 systems, provided that the installed remote control uses a battery compatible with this model.
